The Carlisle Europe team participated in the United Kingdom’s largest exhibition for the foodservice and hospitality industry, Hotelympia. This exposition was held February 26 through March 1 in London, England.

NEW show dates! NEW floor plan!
NEW and exciting booth for Carlisle!
The NRA Show moved from mid May to May 5-8 to accommodate the 38th G8 summit. The exhibit floor will be the same but the exhibits will have different booth numbers. Carlisle’s NEW booth number is 4420.
Another really, really NEW entity will be the Carlisle booth! That’s right; Carlisle will be sporting a brand NEW, dramatic look for NRA. A look inspired by our NEW logo. So, you’ll want to schedule time with each of your customers in the Carlisle booth.
The Carlisle booth will have a mandatory walk through Saturday morning, May 5 from 8 am until 9:30 am. If you and others from your rep group plan to attend the walk through and NRA, please send list names and times you’ll be free to work the NEW Carlisle booth to: debmoore@carlislefsp.com.

The Las Vegas Convention Center hosted Catersource 2012 on February 28 & 29. Carlisle featured several products including: the Maximizer Portable Bar; Alibi Bar and Stemware; Venico serving pieces; stainless steel and Melamine displayware; the Savannah electric chafer; ice caddy; Coldmaster products; and My Cateraide in a 600 sq ft booth.
Catersource said there were 1,000 more registrants over last year.

DineXpress® modular counters offer unlimited options for customization and design. While Dinex counters are available for the conventional trayline and kitchen systems, they can now be completely upgraded for your front-of-the-house serving systems.
DineXpress® counters offer a wide variety of options and accessories, from decorative Protector Guards (sneeze guards) to customized shelves, tray slides and cutouts. Counter styles and sizes range from a simple cashier stand to a 91˝ turn stand, with under-storage.
All DineXpress® equipment features a unique, interlocking EZ-Connect system for joining any combination of counters. They also offer the “Easy-Access Drawer”; a drop down panel (removable faceplate) that allows quick access to the heating elements and wiring. An industry first!

Following a restructure at the end of December, we are pleased to inform you that the European Head Office and Distribution Center in Zevenaar, The Netherlands is now 100% focussed on Carlisle FoodService Products. Our colleagues from Carlisle Transportation Products, who previously shared the facilities in Zevenaar have relocated to offices in Arhnem.
Also, after 4 years as Sales and Marketing Director, John Reeves has been appointed General Manager of Carlisle FoodService Products in Europe. John has a wealth of knowledge and experience of the FoodService industry and we are excited about this enhanced position.
As a further result of the reorganization we have added 13 people to our FoodService Products team. All of these changes will allow us to continually improve our service levels to our customers across Europe.

The US Foods Culinary Equipment & Supplies 2012 Conference was held in historic Savannah, GA on January 18 – 20th. Carlisle’s sales squad had two booths and presented Carlisle and Dinex products in 35 rotations held over the 2-day event to 160 US Foods Equipment & Supplies Territory Managers and Specialists.
Dressed as firemen, the Carlisle sales squad and their Dalmatian mascot focused on the Carlisle new products within the US Foods catalog; Recycle Cans; plastic properties of PC, SAN, Duradex and Tritan, and cleaning tools.
The DineXpress unit, featured in the Dinex booth, made a great impression. The Carlisle sales squad reviewed the unit’s features, benefits and the customization of the unit for healthcare and other foodservice applications. Traytop, Insulated Beverage Pitchers, Happenings Traycovers and Induction were also presented
The Carlisle sales squad got US Foods Culinary Equipment & Supplies “fired up” about selling Carlisle and Dinex, plus the squad gave the conference attendees the knowledge to help put out the flames when issues occur.
